Having met with accident 2 weeks ago truly had a toll on me, I couldn’t do much walking and sedentary lifestyle seemed like the only best option I had. To make matters worse the painkillers prescribed to me was making hungry at all hours of the day, on an average day I would be eating 5 meals. But now after having it all regulate again I am slowly getting back to my old self, started my regime of dancing again but kind of worried as it was ankle that was hurt during the accident and I wouldn’t want to hurt it again with strenuous activity, but the simple feeling of being mobile again has had a tremendous affect on me. In the beginning I was afraid of putting to much pressure on it so I hold back from dancing and in return I forced myself to do a lot walking and sit ups, it did help but because this activities aren’t my favourite I wasn’t able to push myself to complete a 1 hour session but since the beginning of this week my usual regime of 2 hours dancing is back and it has truly made me feel better.
Apart from that my diet has also taken a better twist; my greatest heartfelt gratitude for Kim Fah’s mum and Karthi who is my brothers girlfriends mum, it is due to this 2 lovely ladies kind effort to make me good home made healthy meals that I am able to keep up a good and stable diet. Another habit I have adopted is stocking fruits in my room which I have always thought of as ridiculous to do but now that I am doing it I think it is the best habit I have ever had. Waking up in the morning with my favourite banana [the long type not short wants] and instant oat drink is almost like heaven.
Apart from all this me and girlfriends did a little test on ourselves this weekend, a stamina test, we were put in an empty area which we were later told was the re-enactment of a thriller movie where the assailant was supposedly searching and is hunting us down and that we are given an estimated time of 30 minutes maximum to find a way out. The moment the clock started; we all started running and this empty area we were in was a huge 4 level building and we were at the top meaning we had to run down 4 levels jus to check if there was an exit available. Through the whole process i realised things body shape isn’t an indication of how strong or fast a person can be, all of us had different body shapes and lifestyles but we all ended up dying in the end because we were put of breath and even of we were hiding our panting was so loud it was almost crazy to not be noticed. So the conclusion of the night is that we all have very low stamina.
Alls well will ends well ...
