CONCLUSION

I realised in class today that our blood type plays a very important role in helping us pick the right diet plan, I am of O+ blood type and people with my blood type are often asked to eat 5 main meals per day as skipping meals aren’t good for our blood type, secondly type O people should eat lots of meat which are high in protein and lessen our intake of wheat or grains which means lower carbohydrate intake. Even through exercising; vigorous exercising like aerobics or dancing should be opted compared to brisk walking and such. So looking at all this I think my current eating style and exercise regime seem to fit my type O self quite perfectly.

The word moderation has a lot of meaning to a lot of different people but to me this word is the key factor to living a healthier and more prosperous life, nothing in this world can be good for us if we have too much of it or too little of it, sodium and fat are among the 2 major components in our diets this days. Being a college student living away from home we tend to eat out more often and this in return can cause us to not be able to control the amount of fat and sodium intake we get in a day. Our brain are made of 60% of fat; so imagine if we were to adopt a diet that has eliminates all form of fat, this could cause us to be under nourishing our brain and what happens through this is that our brain is not able to function at its maximum capacity and through this we are more prone to depression and other mental related problems. But imagine if we had a high in fat diet, then we are exposing ourselves to cardiovascular diseases or obesity which in return will bring about so many other problems which will affect us.

My blog has tragically come to an end; through this 3 months I would say I realise that making even the slightest changes in our lives can truly have a huge impact on how we foresee our future. It doesn’t start in a day but a little at 1 time. It becomes like a tough decision that we have to make, changing our eating habit, pre-planning our diet to suit our body and such. The pettiest matters tend to be the one that carries the heaviest impact on us. Sedentary lifestyle is truly something we can fall into so unconsciously and to get out of it all we have to do is start moving. Eating fruits and fibres’ may seem difficult because were never at home but the fact is, all this are around us at all time all we have to do is spend a little time paying attention and making effort to get it.
Through this journey I would say I see visible results in me, I feel healthier and am more conscious and aware of my choices. As my favourite saying goes,

ALLS WELL WILL ENDS WELL
